LaRita is a mother, a daughter, a sister & woman with a desire to create change in the lives of others. LaRita is also a poet, an author, a mentor, and a certified life coach. She believes strongly in helping individuals to take back their power by  practicing self-love, setting healthy boundaries, release what no longer serves you, practicing self-care & showing gratitude in life in becoming strong & resilient.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, in a single parent household, LaRita defied the odds by completing high school, college, enrolling in graduate school, educating and empowering herself in order to empower others in their lives in proving that you do not have to become a product of your environment or circumstances. You can rise like a phoenix from the ashes and reinvent yourself. Always believe in yourself and your vision in creating a life of fulfillment, peace and happiness.

LaRita believes it is vital for people to focus on life as it is right now and be present in order to make changes for necessary improvement and elevation. We can't change our past nor stew in those past and unhealed traumas. We can only work on ourselves to be better and stronger individuals. We must heal those broken pieces in order to become whole again, and NEVER give up.
